Kumera is 4 years old!

Kumera turned 4 on Friday, July 22! The same day we put our dog down. We didn't want it to work out that way, but it was the only day that worked. So, I couldn't possibly post the previous post without posting something about Kumera's birthday as well. We didn't do a lot for Kumera's birthday, but we did give him his presents. And we also took him to see Cars 2 last weekend and he loved it! That was his first ever theatre experience. He did quite well! He hasn't had a birthday cake yet, because it hasn't worked to have family over yet, so that will likely have to wait till August. Plus I want my house put back together first. Reno's aren't quite done... but it's getting close.

Here he's pictured with his gifts. He got a Buzz Lightyear lifejacket, a Thomas Train puzzle, a Thomas Train fabric toybox, Thomas umbrella, Mater tow truck (from Grandma) and Finn McMissile car. The Finn McMissile car is a new character from Cars 2. He is head over heals over that car. He plays with it from morning till night, plus he sleeps with it. He saw it at Walmart and told us he wanted it, but I didn't know he'd be quite this smitten over it.
