Some shopping and stuff...

Seems this summer has been so busy and I haven't had time to post much lately or read many blogs either. We went to the CAFAC BBQ weekend in Minnedosa and we had a great time. Weather was great. The B & B was awesome! But seeing all the little girls at the BBQ, especially all those that have come home recently, made me so much more anxious for our future daughter. I was good till now. But seeing so many new ones made me very anxious.

We went to the US for a little holiday and some shopping. I found some great stuff for our house. I'm completely redecorating since we've renovated. I had to share one thing that I found. When I saw it I thought it was so perfect for us and our adoption. And the colours match my walls perfectly.

So, when I have days when I'm really impatiently waiting for a daughter, maybe this will remind me of who's in control.

I bought something else which I just couldn't resist any longer. But I won't share a picture of it just yet. I bought a little girl's bedding set!!!! I'm so excited! I've been itching to do this for so long already. Long ago already I had a set all picked out from the Sears catalogue and was just waiting for the day to order it. But it was quite expensive so I held back, plus I figured it was too soon. In the US I searched a few places for similar bedding sets and came across one at Kohl's. It looked similar to the one at Sears and was just as cute. It included 6 matching peices... the comforter, sham, pillowcase, flat sheet, fitted sheet, and matching bedskirt on sale for $59.99! Regular price was $129.00. Wow! The one at Sears only had two pieces... the comforter and sham for $130.00, plus if I would've ordered all the other matching peices it would've probably come to $300.00! I didn't buy the one at Kohl's right away because I wanted to check a few other places. The next day I decided to go back to Kohl's to look at that one again and decided .... Yup, I better buy it now or I'll end up getting that expensive one from Sears. I took it to the counter to pay for it to find out it was an ADDITIONAL 50% OFF!!! It was only $30.00!!!! Wow, am I glad I bought it!! I love finding bargains like that! Now I can't wait to get our little girl's room started!
